About Brooklands Meadow Park

We currently maintain Brooklands Meadow Park but it is not yet officially our land and is currently owned by Places for People.

Brooklands Meadow Park is a modern, well thought out flood retention site with a dam structure, it ensures the surrounding houses don’t flood in times of heavy rain. As the area develops, there are plans for this park to link up with the other linear parks nearby such as Atterbury Park and Broughton Brook Linear Park.

There are two play areas in Brooklands Meadow Park, each different in design to cater for younger and older children, they are very popular in the summer months. The Ripple play area is suitable for children aged up to 12 years and with Pebble play area being suited to older children.

The park is well used by local residents with a rapidly increasing catchment area. Attractive, ornate bridges are scattered throughout the park and provide a real point of interest. There are also some pleasant wildflower areas along the margins of the brook itself. Please be careful when visiting during wetter weather as the site does flood considerably when rainfall is heavy. We would recommend dogs are kept on leads in Brooklands Meadow Park.

Facilities

There are no public toilets in the park. The nearest facilities are at Milton Keynes Coachway Park and Ride. There isn’t a designated car park at Brooklands Meadow but parking can be found on the residential streets surrounding the park or at Milton Keynes Coachway.

Accessibility

This park has good accessibility, the leisure routes are all hard surfaces, relatively flat and the bridges have anti slip surfaces. Max gradient 2.2%. No steps or gates.
