Car parking

The revenue from car parking at Willen Lake goes in to the maintenance and improvement of the parks in Milton Keynes.  The Parks Trust is a self financing charity and receives no funding from council tax or government.  We care for over 6,000 acres of parkland in Milton Keynes.

Paid car parking with CCTV in operation is available for use at Willen Lake. It can be found at the following locations:

  • South Bay Car Park
Off Lakeside roundabout, V10 Brickhill St (by the hotel, gym and The Lakeside pub). Our South Bay Car Park operates a pay and display system, which means you pay upon arrival into this car park. For the Terms and Conditions of Parking please view the signs which are located throughout the car park.

  • North Bay Car Park
North Bay Car Park off Newlands roundabout, V10 Brickhill St (Splash 'n' Play, play areas and wakeboarding). This car park operates an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system, in the case of this car park payment must be made prior to exiting the car park (NOT ON ARRIVAL). You can pay by card over the phone or at the machines. For instructions and the Terms and Conditions of Parking please view the signs which are located next to each pay station.

  • Drop Off Point
If you wish to alight passengers from your vehicle at the North Car Park, you need to ensure you exit the car park within ten minutes of entering it or you will need to pay for parking. If you fail to do so you will be at risk of a Fixed Charge Notice from Napier Parking Ltd.

The South Car Park is not monitored by fixed ANPR cameras, so you can alight passengers at this location, however you must remain with your vehicle and comply with any instructions from the on site parking attendants, for example they may require you to purchase a ticket if they believe you are parked. For the avoidance of doubt if you leave your vehicle unattended you are required to display a valid ticket. Short stay tickets are available.

For the avoidance of doubt there is no free parking at either car park.

  • Charges for both car parks are as follows;
    Up to 30 mins £0.50
    Up to 1 hour £1.00
    Up to 2 hours £1.50
    Up to 4 hours £2.50
    Up to 8 hours £4.00
    Up to 24 hours £5.00
Up to 48 hours £10.00 Max stay is 48 hours.

All of our car parking is managed by Napier Parking.

  • Fixed Charge Notices
If Napier Parking believe you have breached the clearly displayed Terms and Conditions, then a Fixed Charge Notice may be issued. Details of how to pay the Fixed Charge are contained in the Notice, a discount will be offered for payments received within 14 days from the date of issue. If you wish to appeal against a Fixed Charge it is important that you do so within the timescales set within the Notice and by following the instructions detailed.
