Milton Keynes Open Water Swimming (run by Love Open Water) will be running once-a-month sessions during the winter months to introduce open water swimmers to colder water temperatures.

Enjoy an outdoor swim in the lake and then a much-needed hot drink and brioche afterwards. You can rest assured that you will feel safe in the water as Milton Keynes Open Water Swimming use the NOWCA water safety system and have a water safety team on hand.

The ‘intro to cold water’ swim sessions will run on the following dates:

  • Sunday 10th November 8.00am 30am
  • Sunday 8th December 8.00am 9.30am
  • Saturday 4th January 8.00am 9.30am
  • Saturday 1st February 8.00am 9.30am
  • Saturday 7th March 8.00am 9.30am

The loop size will be determined by the water temperature and the loops will get shorter for safety.

Swim Sessions cost £6 per session and need to be pre-booked via NOWCA’s ACTiO app – more info here: http://bit.ly/ACTiOapp. For more information about Milton Keynes Open Water Swimming please check out their website here.
