Willen On Ice Schools Competition

Calling all creative designers!

Willen On Ice is returning to Willen Lake, double the size of last year, and we’re giving your school the chance to join the action for FREE.

Our Willen Lake mascot, Wilbur, needs your help getting into the festive spirit - with a special outfit for the occasion. Can you design a t-shirt for Wilbur to proudly show off on the ice?

How to enter

Print the Wilbur T-shirt colouring sheet.
Get creative and design Wilbur a new T-shirt.
Enter your design online or by post.

Online: Scan or take a photo of your design and upload via the form below.

Post: Send your classes entries to the below address, stating the teachers contact name, email address and phone number.

Terms & Conditions*

General

The promoter of this competition is Perception PR, on behalf of Whitecap Leisure Limited which is a Company regsitered in England and Wales (Company No. 03979736) and whose registered address is Campbell Park Pavillion, 1300 Silbury Boulevard, Campbell Park Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK9 4AD.
All persons entering the competition shall be deemed to have accepted the rules set out in these terms and conditions. Whitecap Leisure reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude any entry from the competition if at any time it has reason to believe that the entrant has breached any of these rules.
The competition will open on Thursday 12th September 2024 at 9am (GMT) and will end on Sunday 6th October at 5pm (GMT). No liability will be accepted by Whitecap Leisure ltd for illegible, incomplete or entries submitted late.
Entrants must be residents of the UK and aged between 2 and 15 years old at the time of entering.
Entrants must ensure they have permission from their parent or guardian or Youth Group or School to enter.
Any entries from individuals who work for The Parks Trust or Willen Lake, or any of their friends and relatives will not be accepted.

The submission

Entries should be A4 in size and easy to understand.
Entries should use the Willen On Ice poster template.
If uploading, the file size should not exceed 30MB.
Entries must be submitted online via our website or sent by post to: Willen On Ice Competition, The Parks Trust, Campbell Park Pavilion, 1300 Silbury Boulevard, Milton Keynes, MK9 4AD.
All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the Rights of any other party.
By entering the competition all entrants grant to Whitecap Leisure the right to reproduce the entries for the below purposes, regardless of whether their entry is selected as the winner of the competition. No fees will be payable for any of the below uses. Entrants whose posters are one of the finalists also agree to take part in post-competition publicity.
1. Judging the competition
2. Inclusion within Whitecap Leisure marketing and promotional materials (including press packs, social media and website).
3. Whitecap Leisure is entitled further to the above to reproduce and exhibit in all media prize-winning and commended entries.

The prize & winner

There will be one winner selected for this competition.
The prize is an ice skating session at Willen On Ice in Milton Keynes for up to 30 class mates.
Prizes are non-transferrable, non-exchangeable and have no cash alternative.
All entries will be judged by Perception PR and a winner will be selected and contacted to arrange their prize.

Further Terms and Conditions

Whitecap Leisure Ltd reserves the right to cancel this competition or alter any of the rules at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.
The entrant agrees that Whitecap Leisure shall have no liability for any losses, distress or inconvenience that any entrant may suffer as a result of such cancellation.
Only valid entries will be accepted; the entrant will be disqualified if any of the following apply:
1. The entry contains racist, indecent content, sexism or inappropriate language.
2. The entry condones or promotes antisocial or immoral behaviour.
3. The entry could be considered offensive to another person based on their demographics including but not limited to age, gender or religion.
This competition is in no way endorsed by Facebook, X or any other social media network.
The promoter’s decision is final in respect of all matters to do with this prize draw and no correspondence will be entered into.
The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
